Eco-Life Stage 2016

Eco-Life Stage 2016, the biggest environmental event in western Japan is celebrating its 15th anniversary, and this year, the event will take place by the Kitakyushu City Hall.

Approximately 80 groups comprising of citizens, NPOs, businesses, schools and the local administration, will have booths set up to propose and explain various environmental practices and eco-life concepts that can be applied to everyday life.

This year’s running theme will be: “~ Let’s Disseminate! The Citizens’ Pride and Joy, Kitakyushu - the Environmental Capital ~ Let’s Prepare for the Future by Focusing on Familiar Matters”. You will be able to experience the exciting ecological lifestyles together with Kitakyushu’s environmental mascot characters Teitan and Black Teitan, through which you will be able to discover a suitable eco-style for you!

There will also be an open café on the day of the event. Please bring your own set of tableware (plates and spoons) to use from home!
