Notification Regarding “Strengthening Consumer Protection Month”

Every November in Kitakyushu is “Strengthening Consumer Protection Month”. To prevent citizens from becoming victims of consumer trouble such as unfair business practices, various PR activities and events, as well as public lectures will be organized throughout November.

To give citizens an opportunity to be more directly involved with the Consumer Affairs Center, a consumer festival will be held with the theme, “Let’s Utilize Everyone’s Knowledge, Experience and Expertise ~ the Dynamic Engagement of All Citizens Contributing to a Safe and Secure Society ~”, as outlined below. Please come along to check out the event.

Also, we have been using posters at stations and electronic billboards to inform consumers about how to prevent from being taken advantage of.
