The 11th Mt. Sarakura Health Walk Participant Application Info

May is a month filled with spring leaves and blossoms. Wouldn’t you like to refresh your mind and spirit by going for a walk surrounded by nature on Mt. Sarakura in Yahatahigashi ward?

There are six walking courses altogether. Starting with the Mt. Sarakura course, there is also the “strong walker’s” course that is nearly 23km long, the Kawachi Onsen Ajisai-no-yu course, the Heritage of Industrial Modernization course, and the Family course.

You can experience both nature and history by going for a walk through Yahatahigashi ward.

A certificate of completion will be given to those that reach the goal within the time limit.

・Date: May 15th (Sun.) 2016
・Time: 8:30 a.m. ~ 3:00 p.m. (time limit: by 4:00p.m.)
・Starting Location: Higashida Odori Park (in front of the JR Space World Station)
・The walk will be cancelled in the event of stormy weather.
・Cost: Free 
※Interested participants for Ajisai-no-yu course are required to apply in advance (limited to first 500 applicants). There is no need to apply in advance for other courses as applications for these courses will be accepted on the day of the event.
