Kukinoumi Fireworks Festival

The Kukinoumi Fireworks Festival began in 1986 with the goal of regional invigoration as well as contributing to the development of the Dokai Bay area. This year marks the 31st time the event has been held.

Fireworks launched from the middle of Dokai Bay are truly a sight to see. The festival is an original combination of music and fireworks that can be enjoyed by all.

At the center of the event is the “Niagara”, a display of fireworks that looks like a curtain of light hanging from Wakato Bridge. This unique and beautiful display can’t be seen anywhere else, so don’t miss out!
