Please Follow Kitakyushu’s Garbage Disposal Rules

Kitakyushu has set procedures for garbage disposal, such as having designated days for collection and designated garbage bags for disposing different types of garbage. If any of these rules are not abided by, garbage will not be collected.

Regarding garbage disposal rules, please refer to the city’s “Guide for Separate Collection” pamphlet - available in four languages (English, Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese), which explains in detail about garbage separation. For further information and any enquiries, please contact the Management Division at the Environment Bureau.

Gomi stations” refer to designated places for putting out garbage. “Gomi stations” are kept clean thanks to the local residents. Please follow the rules and basic etiquettes when you are putting out garbage for collection.
