Nagasaki Kaido Kurosaki-shuku Spring Lantern Festival

The Nagasaki Kaido Kurosaki-shuku Spring Lantern Festival is held to celebrate Kurosaki as a shukuba machi, or an inn town of Nagasaki Kaido (a road connecting Kokura to Nagasaki) and as a place of international exchange.

Kurosaki will be painted with the colorful Chinese lanterns that will decorate the venue, and traditional Chinese entertainment, live performances by musicians, and a karaoke competition are planned for the event.

Add to that, a bazaar will be held at Kurosaki Chuo Park (Sankaku Park), filled with gourmet cuisine and drink stands.
